CalendarRules to Acquire DocketLaw

San Francisco, CA, January 28, 2013 – CalendarRules, one of the few nationwide providers of court rules content for law firm subscribers across the US, and DocketLaw, a leading provider of mobile Calendar\Docketing tools for Apple iOS devices, today announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement under which CalendarRules will acquire DocketLaw.

“The acquisition of DocketLaw underscores our commitment to delivering court rules content to whatever Calendar, Case Management, or Docketing system a lawyer wants,” said Scott Davis, CEO, CalendarRules.  “DocketLaw adds a best-in-class mobile platform for us to offer our existing subscribers, as well as entry into the mobile market more generally; we’ve already started working with the DocketLaw team to build an Android version,” added Davis.

“We welcome the opportunities that a strengthened relationship with CalendarRules will provide,” said Chirag Asaravala, Founder and President of Docketlaw.  “The CalendarRules technology and rules content are fantastic.  It was easy to implement their API, and our customers love the rules content, so we are excited to see where CalendarRules can take DocketLaw,” added Asaravala.
